As we head into the upcoming school board election season, we need to give a back seat to politics and return to voting for what is best for our students and their education. Emily Rosengrant is running for school board for Middlesex/Monroe in the Cumberland Valley School District. Emily has been the school secretary at Middlesex Elementary School for the past six years. She knows the needs of our district. Her focus is on students and education and her reason for running in these contentious times is to help Cumberland Valley continue to be a top ranked district. A district that has the lowest tax base in the area and a long-standing tradition of excellence. Emily does not base her candidacy on negative condemnation as others have done, but rather on the promise to do what is best for our students and their well being. She is willing to resign her position at Middlesex Elementary School to avoid any conflict of interest. We need a forward-thinking candidate who is totally concerned about the education and care of our students. As a former serving CV school board member, I ask you to join me and other education minded Republicansin voting for Emily Rosengrant by mail or on November 4th at the polls.
