GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): The Volleyball Premier League, organized by the National Volleyball Federation, has concluded in southern Ghazni province. Bilal Mujahid, head of the Physical Education and Sports Department, told Pajhwok Afghan News the competition , featuring 12 teams from Ghazni city and districts, began about a month ago at the Ghazni State Gymnasium. He said the tournament, sponsored by Roshan Company, was aimed at promoting volleyball, fostering unity among youth, preventing drug use, and strengthening social ties. According to Mujahid, in the final match, Khwaja team defeated its rival Mullah Ali team by 4–3 sets to win the championship title. A few days ago, the Martial Arts Federation organized competitions in Ghazni featuring 120 athletes from Kabul, Zabul, and Herat provinces in the Hoshrafu discipline.
