American sports fans have were given a shock when a photo of a naked woman was shown live on air. American TV host Gregg Giannotti made the bizarre gaffe on Saturday during a live recording on CBS Sports. Giannotti, a host on Boomer and Gio which is simulcast on WFAN and CBS Sports, held up his phone screen towards the camera. A naked woman could be seen on his screen as part of a text message exchange, The Sun reports. The conversation started harmless, which Giannotti telling Boomer Esiason and Jerry Recco that he was texting someone who works on his house once a year. He didn’t disclose the work, only that he was in contact with the guy who does it. Gregg Giannotti slipped up and showed a picture of a naked woman on live TV. Source: News.com.au Giannotti turned his phone to show it to his co-hosts, but unfortunately tipped the camera a bit to far and flashed CBS Sports’ viewers. Recco quickly tried to push the image off the screen but it was too late. Giannotti watched it on his monitor and confirmed that unfortunately the image was broadcast on live TV. “Wait, hold on, let me see in the monitor if you could actually see. I was trying to show Jerry,” he said. “Yeah, for two seconds. That’s alright.” The slip up left his co-hosts absolutely baffled. Credit: CBS Unfortunately for Giannotti, it probably isn’t totally alright. The FCC has incredibly strict rules about what can and can’t be shown on TV at certain times. While it may not directly affect Giannotti, CBS Sports almost certainly has a fine on the way. Fans thought the situation was wild, and shared their thoughts on social media. “Poor guy is about to have a very bad weekend,” one fan said. “‘Yeah for 2 seconds it’s alright’ idk if cbs will agree with that lmao,” another fan said. “Gio has some rough moments,” a third fan said. “Truly beyond parody,” a fourth fan said. — This story originally appeared on The Sun and has been republished with permission Join the conversation (0 Comments) Add your comment to this story To join the conversation, please log in.
