Exercise Malabar 2025 unites the navies of India, the United States, Japan, and Australia for one of the Quad’s largest maritime drills in the Pacific. Hosted by the US at Guam from October 28 to November 8, the 29th edition emphasizes coordination, advanced technology, and maritime dominance. India’s INS Sahyadri, the US’s USS Abraham Lincoln, Japan’s JS Izumo, and Australia’s Collins-class submarine will participate in complex exercises covering anti-submarine, anti-air, and surface warfare. The drills will also include training in cyber operations, artificial intelligence, and humanitarian assistance.
