Satish Shah began his career with the film 'Bhagwan Parshuram' and went on to appear in numerous films and TV shows. However, he became a household name with the iconic television show 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai', where he played the role of Indravadhan Sarabhai (Indu). His impeccable comic timing, along with his on-screen chemistry with Ratna Pathak Shah, continues to be fondly remembered by audiences. In 1984, he starred in the sitcom 'Ye Jo Hai Zindagi', where he portrayed 55 different characters across 55 episodes, showcasing his versatility. Born in Mandvi, Gujarat, Satish Shah completed his education at Xavier College and further trained at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). He married designer Madhu Shah in 1972. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he had also battled the virus successfully. The passing of Satish Shah has left a significant void in both the film and television industries.
