Versant has brought on Amanda Cary and Jamie Palatini as Vice Presidents of Communications for entertainment and sports. They will report to Erin Calhoun, Senior Vice President, Entertainment and Sports. Cary will oversee communications across Versant’s entertainment brands, including USA Network, Oxygen, E!, SYFY, Fandango, and Rotten Tomatoes. In her new role, she will manage the entertainment comms team and partner with internal stakeholders to develop and execute strategic publicity campaigns for Versant. Palatini will oversee Sports Communications, including Golf Channel, GolfNow, GolfPass, SportsEngine, and all sports content across the portfolio. He’ll oversee the sports comms team and will work with internal partners to amplify storytelling and strengthen the visibility of the company’s sports brands. Amanda moves to Versant from Paramount, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President, Entertainment Publicity, overseeing communications across Showtime and Paramount+. During her tenure, she led publicity strategies for series such as Yellowjackets, Billions, Fellow Travelers, Twin Peaks: The Return, and The Circus. Prior to Paramount, she held publicity and communications roles at USA Network and Bravo. Jamie joins Versant after more than a decade with NBC Sports. During his tenure there, he led strategic communications and served as a key liaison for on-air talent across major properties, including the Olympics, golf coverage on NBC and Golf Channel, Football Night in America, and NASCAR. Earlier in his career, he directed PR and Community Relations for the Bridgeport Islanders of the American Hockey League.
