With AI apps gaining prominence, people can modify and generate images on their mobile phones. While creativity has hit a new peak, there are disadvantages too. Recently, the film industry reunited to stand up against the use of AI in filmmaking after Aanand L Rai’s Raanjhanaa’s end was altered and re-released in Tamil. At the trailer launch of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor spoke about the misuse of technology and preserving human creativity. Janhvi Kapoor reacts to fake viral images Janhvi, who plays the titular role of Tulsi in Shashank Khaitan’s film, called herself old-school and emphasised the need to preserve human creativity. The actress further said, “When I see on social media, there are so many AI images being circulated against my will. He also shared that necessary laws and regulations should be imposed to protect actors from exploitation. Varun said actors need to have an X factor to make them irreplaceable.
