Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 28 October 2025, members of the interparliamentary cooperation groups “Uzbekistan–Croatia” and “Croatia–Uzbekistan” held a meeting in an online format. During the session, participants discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in interparliamentary relations, trade and economic activity, investment, agriculture, tourism, and education. The sides agreed to intensify collaboration in legislative work, mutual support within international organizations, the expansion of the legal and contractual framework, and the implementation of joint trade, investment, and IT projects. Particular attention was given to developing interregional ties. Croatian parliamentarians expressed interest in strengthening partnerships and joint initiatives in high technology and innovation, transport and logistics, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, as well as in inter-university cooperation.
