EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – The UW-Eau Claire Foundation teamed up with the university’s College of Business for the third sports summit featuring Blugold alumni.
This event brought a new way to connect with people in the sports industry and gave over 200 students the chance to meet UWEC alumni panelists and get firsthand information about potential career opportunities.
“This is open for any student. We’ve got a lot of students out here who are students that aren’t in the sports management program, but they’re really interested like wow, how’d you get into that? How’d you get there? Because you never know where you’re going to end up,” said Curt Krizan, the President of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation.
Krizan says these networking events and the university’s new sports management program can hopefully help students find their right career path.
