Homelessness and poverty are urgent issues. I support infill and density, but it must respect existing neighbourhoods. The city’s response has been reactive and fragmented. I will work with the province and local organizations to deliver transitional housing, mental-health support, and addiction-recovery programs. Public spaces must remain safe and accessible, but our unhoused neighbours also deserve dignity and real solutions.
