When it comes to meals in the sky and business class, no one beats JetBlue, say readers. JetBlue is doing a lot of things right, according to USA Today readers. The publication released a list of the best airlines in America on Wednesday, part of its 2025 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, and the airline, a leading carrier at Logan Airport, ranked No. 1 in two categories: best business and first class cabin and best in-flight food. In three other categories — best airline, best economy class, and best in-flight entertainment — it ranked in the top three. When it comes to meals in the sky and business class, no one beats JetBlue, according to USA Today readers. Guests get complimentary snacks on all flights and can purchase premium alcoholic beverages and curated snack boxes, as well as farm-to-table meal trays on transatlantic flights. In JetBlue Mint, the airline’s premium business class cabin, travelers are served small plates from New York City restaurants and can lie flat and curl up in Tuft & Needle bedding, wrote USA Today. JetBlue passengers are (almost) the most entertained in the sky, say USA Today readers. The airline ranked No. 2 for in-flight entertainment, second only to Southwest. Passengers get free high-speed Wi-Fi and seatback touchscreens with free live TV, SiriusXM Radio, and an extensive library of movies as well as in-seat power at each seat, wrote USA Today. The carrier, which flies to more than 100 cities across the U.S., the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe, is among the top three airlines of 2025, wrote USA Today, ranking No. 3 for going “above and beyond to elevate the in-flight experience.” Air New Zealand ranked No. 2 and Southwest ranked No. 1. “JetBlue caters to passengers with new and refreshed aircraft, plentiful routes, free in-flight connectivity, and generous amounts of legroom in economy class,” wrote USA Today. JetBlue ranked No. 3 for economy class, behind Southwest (No. 2) and Porter Airlines (No. 1). Its economy cabin, Basic Blue, actually has the most legroom of all American-based airlines, noted USA Today, and passengers can upgrade to an EvenMore seat for additional legroom. For the 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards lists, USA Today travel experts select 20 nominees in topics from food to lodging, destinations to things to do. Then the publication asks readers to cast votes to determine the top 10. Earlier this year, JetBlue ranked No. 1 among hybrid airlines in the World’s Best Airline Awards by AirlineRatings.com and among the best economy class in 2025 by Fodor’s Travel.
