US Track & Field Star Reveals New Financial Endeavor as World Athletics Championships Boosts Previous Business
“I’m a woman of many things,” said Twanisha ‘Tee Tee’ Terry, the US track & field star, making it clear her impact stretches far beyond the track. But Terry wants the world to see more than just her speed. “Who would have thought the name Tee Tee Terry would be known by many?” she mused. Well, she is not just a champion sprinter but a creator, author, and inspiration.
Amy Begley of USATF sat down with the World Championship relay gold medalists – Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, Twanisha Terry, Kayla White, and Sha’Carri Richardson—for an insightful interview. During the conversation, Begley posed a lighthearted question to Terry about her hobbies and how she spends her free time. With confidence, the sprinter asserted, “I do a lot.”
She added, “I do baby clothes, blankets, hats, different styles of hats, and scarves. Yes, I made a scarf. Nice. I just do all kinds of skirts, shorts, all kinds of different things. I like to try something new. So, while I’m here in Tokyo, I’m starting on a Shawl.”

In March 2025, she swapped the track for the typewriter and dropped her debut children’s book, TeeTee’s World Adventure, co-authored with Dennis Vanasse. The book, already shining with five-star reviews, is available on Amazon and her site, TeeTeeTerry.com.
