Police have issued an update and urgent CCTV appeal for a potential witness after a horror crash which killed a 'funny' and 'full of joy' man in Oldham. Jordan Relph, 20, was hit by a vehicle on Glodwick Road at around 5.55am on September 18. He was seriously injured and tragically died a short time later. The driver of the car – a man, aged 53 – stayed at the scene and was arrested suspicion of causing death by careless driving, but has since been bailed pending further enquiries, Greater Manchester Police said. After Jordan's death, his twin brother Olly paid an emotional tribute to him and spoke of his devastation at the loss of his ‘other half’. “My twin Jordan was the funniest person to ever walk into a room. He lit it up always," he told the M.E.N. “You heard him before you saw him, he loved to be loud. He was full of joy and constantly singing the top note to any song and making funny dances. "He wasn’t just my brother, he was my twin, my other half. We had a bond that could never be broken, we did everything together. "I can’t tell you how broken I am that Jordan’s no longer here. It will never be the same without him here. Rest in peace my twinny, my best friend, my angel.” As Jordan's mum, Laura, added: "Jordan was a young, loving, caring person. He had an impact on the life of everyone who met him. Jordan's smile would light up a room. He loved to dance and was very popular. I am heartbroken." In an update on Tuesday (October 28), Greater Manchester Police have issued new CCTV images in the hope of locating a witness, who they say was driving behind the vehicle involved in the collision and got out to assist. They are believed to have been driving a black car – possibly a hatchback. While the CCTV images aren’t fully clear, GMP say they hope that the owner recognises their vehicle, remembers the incident, and comes forward. Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage, should contact police on 101 or 0161 856 4741 quoting log number 464 of 18/09/25. Alternatively, details can be shared via GMP's LiveChat function at www.gmp.police.uk or via the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
