Meyer thinks Ohio State offensive coordinator Brian Hartline is ready for a head coaching job after working under head coach Ryan Day. “I’m a big Brian Hartline fan, always have been, and he just needed the experience,” Meyer said. “I’m glad he stayed (with the Buckeyes). He had a chance to leave, and he learned from us and coach Day. And I think he’s ready.” Meyer went 187-32 as a head coach in college football. He ranks third all-time in winning percentage (85.4).
