The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recommended 114 additional candidates from the Consolidated Reserve List to fill the remaining vacancies for the Civil Services Examination (Main) 2024. The list is available on the official website at upsc.gov.in. It contains the PDF file of the candidates who have selected along with their roll numbers. The result of the Civil Services Examination, 2024 was announced on April 22, 2025, recommending 1009 candidates based on merit for appointment to IAS, IFS, IPS, and other Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ against 1129 vacancies. It was also stated that the Commission, in accordance with Rule 20(4) & 20(5) of the Civil Services Examination Rules, 2024, had maintained a Consolidated Reserve List in order of merit below the last recommended candidate in the respective categories. The Commission has now recommended 114 candidates, including 94 from the General category, 05 from EWS, 13 from OBC, 01 from SC, and 01 from ST, to fill the remaining posts based on the Civil Services Examination, 2024. The recommended candidates will be informed directly by the DOP&T. UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024 Reserve List The candidature of 15 candidates is provisional. “In the said Press Note it was also informed that the Commission, in accordance with the Rule 20(4) & 20(5) of the Civil Services Examination Rules, 2024 has also maintained a Consolidated Reserve List in order of merit below the last recommended candidate under the respective categories,” reads the official notice by UPSC. “As sought by the Department of Personnel & Training, the Commission has now recommended 114 candidates which include 94-General, 05-EWS, 13-OBC, 01- SC and 01-ST, to fill up the remaining posts based on the Civil Services Examination, 2024. The candidates, so recommended, will be intimated directly by the DOP&T,” the commission added. Shakti Dubey topped the UPSC CSE in 2024. She was followed by Harshita Goyal at rank 2, Dongre Archit Parag secured rank 3. Shah Margi Chirag and Aakash Garg secured the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
