The Member of Parliament for Upper Denkyira West, Rudolf Amoako-Gyampa, has assured residents and traders of Denkyira Adeade in the Central Region that steps are being taken to restore electricity to the community after more than two weeks of blackout. Mr. Amoako-Gyampa said he is fully aware of the situation and has already written to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to expedite action on the matter. He noted that similar power-related concerns have been reported in other parts of the constituency, and discussions are ongoing with ECG to find a lasting solution. “I have contacted ECG and will continue to follow up until power is fully restored,” the MP emphasized, assuring the people that he has not taken the matter lightly. He appealed to residents to remain patient as the necessary processes are carried out, stressing that access to electricity is vital for business, education, and overall community development. Restoring power to Denkyira Adeade, he said, remains one of his top priorities.
