Latest News, News November 10, 2025 UPDATE: Two killed in plane crash en route to Jamaica Two people were killed on Monday when a plane crashed in Florida while on its way to Jamaica for hurricane relief efforts. This was confirmed by the City of Coral Springs police in a media statement Monday afternoon. The incident reportedly occurred sometime after 10:00 am. “The City of Coral Springs police can confirm that two people tragically lost their lives as a result of a plane crash that occurred on November 10 at 10:19 am. The investigation is ongoing,” the Coral Springs police said in the statement. It said it is working closely with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) to conduct its investigation. Residents were also advised of significant police presence in the area of Windsor Bay throughout the remainder of the day and Tuesday as investigators work to collect evidence. “Residents may notice a strong odour of fuel in the air. While the majority of these fumes have evaporated, it may take time for the remainder to dissipate. The city strongly recommends residents in the area to avoid being outdoors and keep doors closed for the remainder of the night,” the police said.
