According to the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB)’s official statement, more than 15.7 lakh candidates have registered for sub-inspector and equivalent positions in the UP Police department. Authorities initially received around 1,572,261 application forms. However, after modification and fee payment until September 15, the total count reached 1,575,760. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 4,543 sub-inspector posts. UPPRPB invited applications for the UP Police sub-inspector post until September 11, 2025. Applicants had until September 15 to rectify errors or make other necessary changes to their application forms. Meanwhile, the UP Police SI exam date 2025 will be announced 4 weeks prior. Candidates will have to qualify in the written test, document verification, and physical standard test to secure a seat.
