UK’s ‘best kept family secret’ where you can snap up LEGO, bikes & retro toys for such a ‘good bargain’

MANY of us can admit that there’s no feeling quite like the buzz you get from snapping up a bargain. Well, for any eagle-eyed shoppers out there, you might just want to listen up…because one mum has shed light on “the best second hand shop you’ll ever come across.” Whether you’re after toys for the little ones or bikes, she claims she knows the exact shop that has it all. And perhaps best of all? Everything is donated and recycled for a worthwhile cause. In the clip posted to Instagram, @kimberleyandthekids shared a short video giving her social media followers around the shop in question – The Toy Project. Alongside the post, which she titled “North London’s best kept family secret,” she penned: “The best second hand shop you’ll ever come across. “From LEGO and dolls to books, bikes and dressing up costumes, there’s always something new to discover – all donated and recycled to support a brilliant cause.” She went on to explain how the “unique little shop” is only a 2-minute walk from Archway tube station – noting that it makes it “super easy” to pop in after school or at the weekend. Cheap prices and so many things to search through, they have retro toys from the 80s and 90s too Kimberley Kimberley added: “Affordable prices, a treasure trove of toys, and the joy of knowing you’re helping other children at the same time. “Definitely worth a visit if you’re in North London!” She also noted that @The Toy Project also have a pop up shop in @selfridges Oxford street. And it seems it’s not only Kimberley who is a fan of the second-hand shop. “How lovely Kim, thank you for sharing!!!!” praised one person. A second noted: “Definitely going to pop in.” A third pointed out: “My mum lives around the corner from there me and my sister love it there.” Kimberley replied: “They need more shops like this, we love a good bargain.” Meanwhile, a fourth added: “Thank you for posting I’m literally down the road and have some things to donate as well as have a look at what treasures they have.” Kimberley replied: “You’re welcome! It’s such a cute little shop, my kids spend hours playing with the toys and looking for things they want to spend their pocket money on.” Another tagged a friend and wrote: “We NEED to go here next time I visit. “Think of all the trinkets we can find, I already spotted two hello kitty’s in this video!” Kimberley urged: “You defiantly have to go and visit! “Cheap prices and so many things to search through, they have retro toys from the 80s and 90s too.”
