Highlights UCF’s 2025 “HyperSpace” uniforms are now available in EA Sports College Football 26 The all-black design celebrates the school’s partnership with the U.S. Air Force and the new HyperSpace Center EA’s latest update also added Oregon’s “Shoe Duck,” Arizona’s “Sandstorm,” and App State’s “Corn Cob” looks EA Sports added another round of alternate uniforms to College Football 26 on Thursday, and among them is one of the most recognizable traditions in the sport: UCF’s “Space Game” look. The Knights’ 2025 edition, which is set to debut against Houston on Nov. 7, honors the university’s deep ties to the aerospace industry and a new partnership with the U.S. Air Force. That collaboration led to the creation of the HyperSpace Center, a research hub dedicated to advancing hypersonic and space propulsion technology. The uniforms themselves feature a black-on-black design, with blue and white detailing to represent hypersonic motion. Each helmet bears a gradient “UCF” logo, a multicolored racing stripe, and the motto “Citius Est Futurum,” Latin for “The Future Is Faster.” The jersey includes “MISSION IX” across the nameplate, marking the ninth installment of UCF’s annual Space Game tradition that began in 2017. Over the years, UCF’s alternate looks have celebrated its proximity to Kennedy Space Center and the school’s early identity as Florida Technological University, nicknamed “Space U.” With each version, the Knights have leaned into both storytelling and visual flair, making their alternates some of the most anticipated in college football. Now, players can bring that same energy to the digital gridiron. Alongside UCF’s cosmic-inspired look, Thursday’s CFB 26 update also included Oregon’s Phil Knight–themed “Shoe Duck” set, Arizona’s “Sandstorm” alternates, and Appalachian State’s nostalgic “Corn Cob” helmets.
