EXCLUSIVE: Teen Wolf‘s Tyler Posey is set to make his feature directorial debut with Sober House, an indie targeting a Q1 2026 shoot in the Los Angeles area, which he’ll also star in and produce. Written by Posey and John Ahle Kellar, the film is described as a horror-thriller with comedic elements. The story follows three addicts who, after their best friend’s overdose, join a secluded mountain sober house to get clean — only to discover the program’s most committed attendee is a recovering serial killer who’s relapsing in his own way. Keli Price will produce under his Price Productions banner, alongside Posey and his new company, Pocket Full of Posey Entertainment. Posey told Deadline, “Sober House is years in the making and hits close to home. Finally partnering with Keli whose work ethic, passion, love and kindness matches what I like to bring to a project. My approach is to highlight the grounded buddy comedy tone, inspired by the American Pie days, and flipping that on its head in a way that is familiar and new at the same time.” Recently working with Posey on Death of a Brewer, an indie drama co-starring Jefferson White, Crispin Glover, and Mena Suvari, producer Price added, “We’re thrilled to take this journey with Tyler and John and continue our working relationship and friendship. It’s exciting to see Tyler take these next steps behind the camera, and we believe this film will really showcase the multifaceted talent that he is. We’re excited for audiences to dive into the world we’ve created.” Best known for starring in MTV’s Teen Wolf, for which he directed a 2017 episode, and 2023’s Teen Wolf: The Movie, Posey has most recently been seen on Fox’s Murder in a Small Town, with additional credits including The Real Bros of Simi Valley: The Movie, Undone, Truth or Dare, and Jane the Virgin, to name a few. He is repped by IAG, Luber Roklin Entertainment, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman. Kellar is repped by NTA Talent Agency and Hines and Hunt Entertainment.
