Gardaí are investigating two burglaries at vacant houses in the area of Meenaleenaghan, Glenties over the weekend. Both incidents are believed to have taken place between 4.30 on Friday afternoon and 3 o’clock the following day. One was entered through a back door, which was forced open, the other through an unlocked front door. In both cases, copper pipes were cut throughout the houses and stolen along with copper cylinders and radiators. Anyone with information, or who observed any suspicious activity of vehicles is asked to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.
