Beirut, October 27 (QNA) - Two people were killed Monday in an Israeli raid on southern Lebanon. The Lebanese Ministry of Health said in a statement that an Israeli raid targeted the Al Bayadh area in the Tyre district, south of the country, resulting in a preliminary death toll of two. It is worth noting that a ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon went into effect on November 27, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days. The Beirut government subsequently agreed to extend the deadline until February 18, but Israeli forces remained at five points and continued their violations. (QNA)
