Turkey and Britain signed a major Turkey fighter jet deal worth $11 billion, strengthening defence ties between the two NATO allies. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer met President Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on Monday to finalize the purchase of 20 Eurofighter Typhoon jets. The deal aims to boost Turkey’s air power and deepen military cooperation with Europe. In July, both countries reached a preliminary agreement for 40 Typhoon jets, supported by Eurofighter consortium members Germany, Italy, and Spain.
