Offer bangles, a dupatta or sari, and other adornments to Goddess Tulsi. Place the Shaligram to the right of the Tulsi plant and bathe both with Ganga water. Apply Chandan (sandalwood) to the Shaligram and vermilion to Tulsi. Offer flowers, sweets, sugarcane, water chestnuts, and panchamrit as offerings. Light incense and lamps. Since rice is not offered to the Shaligram, offer sesame seeds or white sandalwood instead.Chant mantras and perform the symbolic "saat pheras" (seven circumambulations) of Tulsi and Shaligram, which forms an integral part of Hindu weddings.
