Zeeco Oktoberfest Tulsa has made history by becoming the first festival to be named USA Today’s Best Oktoberfest in America in consecutive years, festival organizers announced this week.
A panel of experts and USA Today “10 Best” editors nominated Zeeco Oktoberfest Tulsa and 19 other festivals to participate in a month-long public vote.
“On behalf of our many hardworking staff members, volunteers and generous sponsors who make Zeeco Oktoberfest Tulsa possible, we are beyond proud that voters have again proved what we’ve known for years – our festival is truly special and there is no comparison,” Tulsa Oktoberfest, Inc. board chair Mike Dodson said in a news release. “We are privileged to host this annual event to benefit Tulsa’s river parks and we look forward to welcoming even more visitors to join us this year to celebrate together in the spirit of Gemütlichkeit.”
Tulsa’s Oktoberest will celebrate its 46th year as thousands of visitors from throughout Oklahoma and around the world gather at River West Festival Park Oct. 16-19. Tickets are on sale at tulsaoktoberfest.org.

Both of our organizations believe in working hard, competing to be the best and focusing on long-term success – and we’re proud to help make this event possible.”
