Tube Investments Q2 revenue rises 12%, profit stays flat at ₹302 crore

Tube Investments of India, a Murugappa Group company, has reported a 12 per cent growth in consolidated revenue for the quarter ended September at ₹5,523 crore. The consolidated net profit stood at ₹302 crore, marginally up from ₹299 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. On a standalone basis, revenue of the group in Q2FY26 was at ₹2,119 crore when compared to ₹2,065 crore in the same quarter last year. PAT was at ₹187 crore compared to ₹168 crore a year-ago period. On a half-yearly basis, consolidated net profit stood at ₹605 crore compared to ₹615 crore. Shanti Gears, CG Power and lndustrial Solutions Ltd (which now has a semiconductor business CG Semi), and Tl Clean Mobility Private Ltd are among key subsidiaries of Tube Investments. CG Power revenue up Tube Investments holds 56.29 per cent stake in CG Power, which registered a consolidated revenue of ₹2,923 crore during the quarter as against ₹2,413 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. CG Power’s profit before tax for the quarter was at ₹388 crore as against ₹294 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year. Shanthi Gears, a subsidiary in the Gears Business, in which the company holds 70.46 per cent stake, registered a revenue of ₹132 crore during the quarter as against ₹155 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Profit before tax for the quarter was at ₹29 crore as against ₹34 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year. In terms of segments, the revenue of the engineering business for the quarter was ₹1,382 crore compared with ₹1,323 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Metal Formed Products also grew revenue marginally from ₹404 crore in Q2FY25 to ₹408 crore in Q2FY26. The revenue for the mobility segment was ₹194 crore compared with ₹168 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Published on November 5, 2025
