Team Europe held off a late surge by Team USA to win its second consecutive Ryder Cup on Sunday, then trolled President Donald Trump, who stopped by the golf event on Friday.
Trump, for his part, was a good sport about it.
After the victory in Bethpage, New York, the Europeans were filmed with their trophy, chanting at the president.
“Are you watching, are you watching Donald Trump?” they yelled, echoing chants made by their fans during the closing ceremony.

Trump shared the video on this Truth Social website.
“Yes, I’m watching,” he wrote. “Congratulations!”
While the Ryder Cup is typically known as a raucous event with chants, songs, and shouts, some European players and reporters on the scene said U.S. fans crossed the line this year with boorish behavior by some spectators and at least one of the event’s emcees.
Comedian Heather McMahan, who was one of those emcees, stepped down and apologized after joining in a “f**k you, Rory” chant aimed at Europe’s Rory McIlroy.
McIlroy also dealt with taunts and jeers from spectators all weekend, at one point telling fans to “shut the f**k up” as they shouted while he prepared a shot.
Some fans were ejected.
When Team Europe took the Cup, their fans called out to the president.
“Are you watching, Donald Trump?” they chanted during the ceremony.
The party continued all the way home: The Europeans were filmed on their flight back singing “Europe’s on fire, USA is terrified,” to the tune of Gala’s 1990s dance hit “Freed From Desire.”
Team Europe’s Shane Lowry, who clinched the victory with a decisive putt, also had some fun on social media:
