Trump floats branding Antifa a terrorist group and stripping tax-exempt status from lefties

President Donald Trump is looking to punish his left-wing enemies in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

The White House is considering branding Antifa a terrorist organization and stripping the tax-exempt status of left-leaning nonprofit groups, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Trump is also looking to use his executive power to target nonprofit groups with violating anticorruption laws.

The administration could begin pushing these efforts as early as next week.

Administration officials across different departments are also seeking to identify organizations suspected of targeting conservatives and right-wing causes.

Officials told WSJ that individuals who have targeted law enforcement for enforcing Trump’s mass deportation operation could be labeled as domestic terrorists.

Attacks against Elon Musk’s Tesla showroom with vandalism, shooting, and incendiary devices will also be investigated as part of the administration’s anti-left effort.

‘Antifa is terrible. There are other groups,’ Trump said in the Oval Office on Monday. ‘We have some pretty radical groups, and they got away with murder.’

When asked whether he would assign a domestic terrorism label to Antifa, Trump responded, ‘It’s something I would do, yeah.’

The president noted he would move forward with the terrorism label if DOJ and Cabinet officials supported the move.

Trump noted he is in discussions with Attorney General Pam Bondi over charging leftist groups with racketeering charges for funding violent agitators.

‘I’ve asked Pam to look into that in terms of RICO, bringing RICO cases,’ Trump said.

‘They should be put in jail, what they’re doing to this country is really subversive.’

During the White House press conference on Monday, deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller claimed a ‘network of organizations’ including Black Lives Matter, are responsible for launching riots.

Kirk, a major advocate for Trump among young college voters in the 2024 election, was assassinated last week while speaking to college students at Utah Valley University last week.

A suspect, Tyler Robinson, was arrested and will face charges for murdering Kirk on Tuesday.

Although the FBI is still investigating Robinson’s alleged motives for shooting Kirk, investigators discovered a bullet from the rifle allegedly used by Robinson that had an inscription on it that read, “Hey fascist! Catch!’

Moreover, Robinson had been in a relationship with his transgender roommate Lance Twiggs, who has since cooperated with police.
