Trump declares G20 boycott over his claims of Afrikaner killings

United States of America (USA) President Donald Trump says none of his country’s officials will attend the G20 Leaders’ Summit in South Africa as long as the killing of Afrikaners continues. He made the statement in a post on Truth Social. Earlier this year, Trump announced that he would skip the event and would instead send Vice President J.D. Vance to represent the US. Trump’s latest missive directed at South Africa this week follows the critical comments he made at the America Business Forum in Miami, Florida on Wednesday. Two days earlier, President Trump said Miami had long been a haven for those fleeing communist tyranny in South Africa, in what appeared to be a reference to South America at which point President Trump appeared to double down and suggested South Africa should not be in the G20 at all. On Friday, a post saying it was a total disgrace that the G20 would be held in SA and that Afrikaners, whom he pointed out descended from Dutch, French and German “immigrants” where being killed and slaughtered and that their land and farms were being illegally confiscated. While crime is a widely recognized problem affecting all race groups, President Trump has emphasised on attacks against Afrikaners.
