It’s no secret that Donald Trump and his administration have been accused of using AI to push announcements, campaigns, and conspiracy theories online.
Well, they might be back at it again. Recently, the Department of Labor tweeted this image as a way of encouraging Americans to use apprenticeship.gov — a platform that promises to “connect career seekers, employers, and education partners with apprenticeship resources.”
Along with the “Make America Skilled Again” logo, the image features a strong-chinned white guy standing in front of a construction site.

“‘make america skilled again!'” one user quoted the ad in response. “used ai imagery bc they don’t wanna pay someone with actual skill to create art.”
Yes, it appears the administration used AI to create their push to find Americans with skills.
People found this deeply ironic.
“yall didn’t have anybody skilled enough to no use AI??” someone asked.
