Trophy Stall, headed by long-time sports supporter Ramesh Sunich, has once again partnered with the 2025 Big Man Cricket Over-40s T20 tournament, continuing its strong tradition of supporting local sport. Sunich, who is nominated for the Corporate Sponsor award at the upcoming National Sports Commission’s annual awards on November 8, said he was thrilled to renew the partnership with the popular tournament. Now five weeks into competition, the nationwide event has enjoyed perfect weather and strong participation, featuring 14 teams divided into two pools in a round-robin format. The top eight teams advanced to yesterday’s quarterfinals, which produced thrilling results across venues in Berbice and Demerara. North Soesdyke Masters defeated Enterprise Star Sports, Everest Masters outplayed Jai Hind Jaguars, Vintage Strikers edged Blairmont Hunters by just two runs, and Albion Masters triumphed over West Bank Warriors.
