Travis Kelce Reacts as Buffalo Bills Fans Heckle Him During Massive Win

There continues to be no love lost between Travis Kelce and Bills Mafia. Kelce, 36, was heckled by fans of the Buffalo Bills as the Kansas City Chiefs made their way to the locker room at halftime of the teams’ AFC showdown at Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium on Sunday, November 2. The interaction was caught by CBS cameras, which showed Kelce putting his hand to his ear, nodding his head and saying, “I love it, I love it.” Kelce likely wasn’t in such a jovial mood after the game, which saw the Bills defeat the Chiefs 28-21. The loss dropped Kansas City to 5-4, currently on the outside of the AFC playoff picture as they head into their bye week. Kelce caught four passes for 66 receiving yards, though he failed to find the end zone. The Chiefs star’s next touchdown reception will break the all-time Kansas City franchise record for touchdown catches, currently held by Kelce and Chiefs legend Priest Holmes. Buffalo has not been a favorite destination for the Kelce family in recent years, which was detailed by family friend and TNT Sports host Adam Lefkoe during a recent appearance on Up & Adams. “I have heard from people very close that it was not a great experience in Buffalo for all parties involved,” Lefkoe, 38, said on the November 2024 episode. Specifically, Lefkoe was recalling a January 2024 game between the Chiefs and Bills in Buffalo, during which Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, ripped his shirt off and chugged beers in a scene that went instantly viral. The January 2024 game was also attended by Travis’ now-fiancée, Taylor Swift. Lefkoe hinted the gameday experience in Buffalo was also unpleasant for her. “It kind of shocked the Kelce family and everyone related to the Kelce family the reception they got,” Lefkoe added. “I think they were going in just being like, ‘This is going to be an amazing game with good energy. They got there and they experienced Bills Mafia in full form, in complete ruthlessness. They left and I think they thought, ‘I don’t know if I want to experience that again.’ It was that kind of level.” Jason, 38, acknowledged as much during a November 2024 episode of the Kelce brothers’ podcast, “New Heights,” when they discussed the Chiefs’ upcoming return to Buffalo. “I will not be shirtless this time around,” Jason said. “I’ll be watching this one from some comfortable area.” As for the Chiefs’ current struggles, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes admitted the team has some major work to do. “We’ve had great moments and we’ve had bad moments,” Mahomes told reporters after Sunday’s loss to the Bills. “We’ve got to be more consistent as a team, I’ve got to be more consistent and we’ve been in a lot of these tight, close games in our history, but they’re not going our way. How can we deal with that adversity? You can only learn from so many losses. You’ve got to learn from it fast.” After their bye week, the Chiefs return to action on Sunday, November 16, when they travel to Denver to face the Broncos.
