Travis Kelce Caught Having Outburst Against Eagles: ‘Sick of This S***’

Travis Kelce wore his emotions on his sleeve as the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a second straight defeat to open the 2025 NFL season.
Kelce, 35, was visibly upset during the Chiefs’ 20-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, September 14.
During the second quarter, an irate Kelce could be seen saying “I’m sick of this s***” to a group of teammates as the Fox broadcast went to break.
Kelce also “launched his helmet on the sideline,” according to ESPN’s Nate Taylor.
The Chiefs were unable to avenge February’s 40-22 loss to the Eagles in February’s Super Bowl LIX.
After a season-opening loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil on September 5, Kansas City has started the season 0-2 for the first time since 2014, Kelce’s first full season in the league.
Dating back to the Super Bowl, it also marks the first time Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, has lost three consecutive games in his NFL career.
Kelce finished Sunday’s game with four receptions for 61 yards. However, a costly miscue by Kelce in the fourth quarter of the game was a turning point.
With the Chiefs driving and trailing 13-10, Kelce bobbled a pass from Mahomes, 29, at the goal line, resulting in an interception by Eagles safety Andrew Mukuba.
Mukuba, 22, returned the interception for 41 yards, helping to sure up a one-yard rushing touchdown by Eagles quarterback, Jalen Hurts, that put the Eagles ahead 20-10.
The Chiefs will seek their first win of the season when they travel to play the New York Giants on Sunday, September 21, on Sunday Night Football.
Before the game, Kelce sat down with Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews for a sit-down interview, where he discussed his recent engagement to his fiancée, Taylor Swift.
“I’m an emotional guy, so there were a few tears here and there,” Kelce told Andrews, 47. “But it’s been an exciting, exciting ride up to this day, I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.”
He added, “She has brought excitement and a joy for life that made me a better man, made me a better person, and made me just that much more comfortable than who I am.”
Kelce and Swift, 35, announced their engagement on August 26 after two years of dating.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” Swift captioned an Instagram post alongside photos from the proposal.
While Swift was not pictured or seen on camera at the Chiefs’ game on Sunday, there is speculation that she entered Arrowhead Stadium while being shielded by a moving wall.
