Trae Young says the Atlanta Hawks will be ‘scary’ during the 2025-26 NBA season
Despite a rocky offseason for Young, the 4x NBA All-Star has shown commitment to the Hawks ahead of the upcoming season.
The soon-to-be 27-year-old guard recently shared his honest prediction about the expectations from the Hawks during an interview with the Club 520 podcast.
“I feel great. I can’t lie to you. If we’re healthy, it’s going to be scary. I’m not one to really want to talk about it right now. I’m a guy who wants to let the play do the talking,” Young said.
While Young is optimistic about the new-look Hawks, he’s aware injuries could derail their campaign.
“I know if we’re healthy, all that’s going to speak for itself. The only thing that can stop us in my mind is health,” he added.
In the best-case scenario, the Hawks finish the regular season without any major injuries. Otherwise, Young will have to lead his injury-prone teammates to a top-six finish in the Eastern Conference.
