The Minnesota Vikings haven't played great football to start the year, sitting at 3-3. The player he linked to Drake Maye and the Patriots to was none other than Jordan Addison, who has been a star in his role for Minnesota. “You can bring in a guy who is going to help you now and also be a building block going forward,” Breer said. “Who could that be? Guys that are nearing the end of their rookie deals, where maybe their teams like the player but don’t plan on signing them long term.” Addison will always be overshadowed during his time in Minnesota due to Justin Jefferson being arguably the top wide receiver in the NFL. He impressed against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7, finishing with 128 receiving yards on nine receptions. With Maye and the Patriots taking a long-term approach to this team, but also having a chance to win in the immediate term, someone like Addison could make perfect sense.
