Tourism Ireland is bringing the island of Ireland to Paris this week at IFTM Top Resa, one of the leading travel and tourism shows in France.
Joined by 15 tourism companies from the island of Ireland, Tourism Ireland is highlighting the diversity of experiences on offer in Ireland across regions and seasons.
France is one of Ireland’s top four inbound tourism markets, so IFTM provides a key platform for Tourism Ireland and its partners to shine a spotlight on the island of Ireland and strengthen valuable relationships with key French tour operators, travel agents, business events decision-makers and media contacts.
The three-day event typically attracts around 30,000 visitors. Around 675 commercial meetings will be conducted on the Ireland stand this week, securing valuable tourism business from France for 2026 and beyond.
Ana Luis, Tourism Ireland’s Trade Partnership Manager France, said: “Our presence at IFTM is a valuable opportunity for our partners from the island of Ireland to showcase their product and connect with leading French travel professionals, to negotiate inclusion in their programmes for 2026 and beyond. Around 675 commercial meetings are taking place on the Ireland stand this week.
“Tourism Ireland’s aim is to capture the attention of the tour operators, travel agents and journalists attending IFTM this week. France is one of the top four markets for tourism to the island of Ireland and Tourism Ireland is rolling out an extensive and targeted programme of promotions in France this autumn – aimed at boosting late season travel and positioning us well for 2026.”
