A big name on the “WWE SmackDown” brand might be making his presence felt on “Monday Night Raw.” PWInsider reports that Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is set to appear inside the Honda Center in Anaheim. WWE is making one last push before its “Saturday Night’s Main Event” show in Salt Lake City. Rhodes is scheduled to put his title at stake against Drew McIntyre on Saturday. The latest episode of “Friday Night SmackDown” ended with McIntyre taking “The American Nightmare” out with a Claymore kick. McIntyre is in search of his fourth world title reign with the top professional wrestling company. Both men will be competing for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship on “Saturday Night’s Main Event.” The Vision faction has been keeping a close eye on the top male prize on the red brand ever since ousting prior champion Seth Rollins, and they’ll likely keep tabs on the promo segment. There will also be a No. 1 contender match to determine the next challenger for Dominik Mysterio’s WWE Intercontinental Championship. Penta and Rusev will be in singles action to determine who gets a crack at Mysterio’s gold. A clash of generations in the women’s division will also be featured. Top star of the Divas era Nikki Bella will collide with “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez, who is looking to rebound after suffering a loss to current WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer last week. Perez figures to have The Judgment Day in her corner, so it’ll be interesting to see if Vaquer evens the odds.
