NORMAN — Finlee Williams, the No. 1 outfielder and No. 3 overall recruit in the class of 2027, per Softball America, announced her commitment to Oklahoma on Tuesday morning.
Williams hails from Melissa, Texas, and plays travel ball for the Texas Glory, the same travel organization that developed former OU star outfielders Jayda Coleman and Rylie Boone.
Williams batted .569 with 20 doubles, 19 home runs, 60 runs batted in and 72 runs scored in 39 games for Melissa High School last season, according to MaxPreps.
Williams is the third 2027 commit for the Sooners and Patty Gasso, joining a pair of star catchers in Wagoner’s Goose Hutchens and Californian Riley Hilliard.
