The company clarified that its Bharat Cell technology is built on an advanced dry-electrode process and uses a cylindrical cell form factor, distinct from LG Energy Solution (LGES) pouch cell technology. Ola said that the fear of losing market opportunities, including a significant customer in Ola Electric, is prompting the foreign rival to attack an indigenous battery innovation. Cyber fraudsters siphoned off ₹2.1 crore from Dr Reddy’s Laboratories by hacking the company’s and one of its vendors’ email communications and diverting the funds to a fraudulent account. According to sources, the Hyderabad-based company received an email from impostors claiming to be a Bengaluru-based pharma company, to whom Dr Reddy’s had to make the payment.
