St. Louis native Mike Zito is headed back home to perform with Albert Castiglia for a night of blues. Back in April, the Blood Brothers performed a sold-out set at the Pageant, with accompaniment from actor and comedian Bill Murray. Since then, Zito has performed in St. Louis a few more times. In October, he crossed the river for a bluesy showdown at the Wildey Theatre in Edwardsville. The concert celebrates the release of the Blood Brothers’ new album, “Help Yourself.” By Jasmine Osby

We don’t have much information about what is planned for this year’s festival, but we do know it will be hosted by Queen of Pride Ming Lee and King of Pride Tyson Cameron, and that there will be a high-heel drag race competition among area merchants. After releasing their fourth studio album, “For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Women),” indie-pop band Japanese Breakfast is bringing the autumn vibes to the Pageant. The band formed in Philadelphia in 2013 as a side project for vocalist and songwriter Michelle Zauner. Over a decade later, Japanese Breakfast is a two-time Grammy-nominated ensemble with a Billboard charting album.
