Tom Holland Rushed To Hospital When Movie Stunt Goes Wrong

Actor Tom Holland was hospitalized Friday after suffering a concussion during a stunt on the set of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”

Holland “cracked his head in a fall” and was treated for a concussion, The Sun reported Sunday, adding that a woman believed to be his stunt double was also taken to the hospital by ambulance. Details of the stunt have not been disclosed. (RELATED: Tom Cruise Gives Rare Insight Into How He Pulls Off Death-Defying Movie Stunts)

The actor sustained a mild concussion and will take a precautionary break from filming, a source close to the production told Deadline.

Filming at Leavesden Studios in Watford, Hertfordshire, was suspended indefinitely Friday following the on-set accident.

It is not yet clear whether the Health and Safety Executive will investigate the accident. The woman taken to the hospital has not been publicly identified.

The film was scheduled for a July 2026 theatrical release, though it is unclear if the production delay will affect that timeline.
