Tom Aspinall will end a year of frustration tonight when he defends his UFC heavyweight world title. Aspinall was crowned interim champion almost two years ago and had thought he had set up a clash with Jon Jones. But the American went on to fight Stipe Miocic before leaving Aspinall waiting while he made a decision on his future. Jones eventually retired - albeit briefly - as Aspinall was crowned champion by default. The Brit is the favourite to beat Gane who has only lost to Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones in his MMA career.
