TNA Victory Road 2025 Match Possibly in Jeopardy Amid Inv...

A significant match scheduled for the TNA “Victory Road 2025” card could be in doubt. Ash by Elegance is scheduled to put the TNA Knockouts World Championship at stake against Masha Slamovich with Indi Hartwell as the special guest referee. Fightful reports that amid TNA Wrestling’s internal investigation into accusations against Masha Slamovich, first reported by Sports Illustrated, the match is in question.
Slamovich is the former partner of independent wrestler AKIRA. On Tuesday morning, a friend of AKIRA posted several text messages allegedly between Slamovich and AKIRA, accusing the former TNA Knockouts World Champion of domestic abuse. Multiple images of AKIRA were also posted as alleged evidence. The social media posts have led to TNA’s reported investigation.

Masha Slamovich’s Current TNA Storyline
Slamovich lost the TNA Knockouts World Championship to “WWE NXT” star Jacy Jayne at “Slammiversary” back in July. That same night, Trick Williams successfully retained the TNA World Championship, meaning both of TNA’s world titles were held by outsiders. The outcomes of both title matches were the beginning of a feud brewing between TNA Wrestling and WWE.
Prior to a champion vs. champion match between Oba Femi and Williams on Tuesday’s episode of “NXT,” several TNA wrestlers teased getting a closer look at the action. While Slamovich was among the TNA talents who played a role in the angle with a social media post, she wasn’t featured in the invasion segment that took place on Tuesday. There’s no word on whether or not the investigation played a role in Slamovich’s absence.
