Tamil Nadu- The Tamil Nadu (TN Health) has begun the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) Round 2 Counselling for the academic year 2025 for admission into the MBBS and BDS degree Courses from today.In this regard, TN Health has released the tentative round 2 Counselling schedule for admission into the MBBS and BDS Degree Courses in Tamil Nadu Government Medical/ Dental Colleges, ESIC Medical College, K.K. Nagar, Chennai, Government & Management Quota (incl. Also, candidates who have been allotted but not joined in Round-1 need not register again. 2 Candidate who have joined the seats and wish to opt for upgradation need not pay the Registration fee again but they have to log in during the registration window to confirm their participation in Round 2 so as to include their seats as Virtual Vacancies. If the candidates don’t do this, they will not be eligible for upgradation.PROCESS FOR ROUND 21 If opted for and upgraded in Round 2, the candidate has to relinquish the seat from Round 1 and join the Round 2 allotted seat. He/She will not have any rights over the Round-I seats. 2 Round- II choice filling will follow the registration and candidates who wish for upgradation, un-allotted candidates and not joined candidates have to fill their choices. 3 Candidates should be careful while choice filling and it is advisable to choose preferred colleges only. 4 Candidate could edit their Choice(s) but once the candidate locks their choice(s) during the online counselling, it cannot be changed later. 5 If the candidate is re-allotted in Round 2, then the MBBS & BDS seat allotted to candidates during Round 1 of Counselling will be allotted to other candidates in descending order, not in ascending order.6 Candidates can discontinue the course before the stipulated resignation date (which will be announced later). These candidates will be eligible to attend the subsequent Rounds of online counselling for the academic year 2025-2026. 7 If the candidate has joined but discontinued the course after the stipulated date of resignation, he /she will be eligible to attend Round 3 of online counselling for the academic year 2025-2026, but they will have to forfeit the registration fee and Security Deposit paid by him/her. 8 Candidates who participated in Round-2 but were allotted the same seats will be considered as retained and have to follow the same Round-2 Rules. 9 Candidates who are freshly allotted seats in Round 2 but who don’t report or join the allotted institute can participate in further Rounds (without forfeiture)-Free Exit. 10 Candidates getting upgraded in Round 2 shall not have any claim on Round 1 seat (Even if they don’t report or join their Round-2 seats). 11 Vacancy Positions for the Course will be available on the official website. The selection committee does not take responsibility for Connectivity errors and Procedural errors.REPORTING TO THE ALLOTTED COLLEGE1 The Certificate Verification will be done in the selected colleges themselves. 2 The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges along with a scanned copy of their original certificates for verification. 3 If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and/or admission will be cancelled without any further notice. 4 The Candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of reporting to the concerned College that he/she is liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts, misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING ALLOTMENT ORDER1 The freshly allotted candidate for MBBS seats in all colleges under all categories and BDS …
