President Bola Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to music legend, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, as he marks his 50th birthday.
In a statement issued from the State House by Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President lauded 2Baba’s remarkable contributions to Nigeria’s entertainment sector, celebrating his creativity, resilience, and embodiment of the Nigerian spirit.
“For over two decades, 2Baba has enriched our lives with soulful music, inspired countless Nigerians, and proudly represented Nigeria on the world stage. His timeless hit, ‘African Queen,’ introduced African music’s richness to global audiences and cemented Nigeria’s place in the international entertainment arena,” Tinubu said.
The President also commended 2Baba’s patriotic efforts, as he noted how he has been effectively using his platform to advocate peace, national unity, and good governance across the country.
Tinubu, who wished the music maestro continued happiness, success, and robust health, expressed hope for even greater achievements in the years to come.
