LANSING, MI -- Lottery players in Michigan should check their old Fantasy 5 tickets as a six figure payout is waiting to be collected. The Michigan Lottery says a winning ticket worth $131,121 has yet to be claimed and time is running out for the winner to come forward. The winning ticket matched all five numbers drawn -- 7-10-21-22-26 -- for the Fantasy 5 drawing held on Dec. 3, 2024 to win the grand prize. The winning ticket was sold at the Pike Food Center, located at 465 East Pike Street in Pontiac. Lottery players in Michigan have one year from the drawing date to come forward and claim a prize. If the winner does not claim the prize by 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, the money will go to the state’s School Aid Fund. The prize must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Lansing. The winner is asked to contact the Michigan Lottery’s Player Relations division at 1-844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment to collect their winnings. The last players from Michigan to win a Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot is the Breakfast Club lottery club which claimed a $842 million jackpot in June 2024. The members plan to use the money to buy a home in Florida and travel. And while they were lucky winners, it’s smart for players to check their tickets immediately as a Powerball winner worth $250,000 sold in Bloomfield Hills in 2024 went unclaimed. That money went to the state’s School Aid Fund.
