With regular play-by-play commentator Michael Grady taking on an expanded role in calling national games for Amazon next season, Horton will call the games on FanDuel Sports Network that Grady will miss when he is calling games for Amazon, the team announced Thursday.
FanDuel will broadcast 65 games with the Wolves also appearing on national platforms (Amazon, NBC/Peacock and ABC/ESPN) 28 times. Some of those national games will also be broadcast on FanDuel. Horton, who is in his 19th season with the Wolves, will still do the radio broadcast of games when Grady is in the booth. All Wolves radio broadcasts are featured on the iHeartradio app with select games broadcast on KFAN 100.3 FM, the Wolves’ radio partner.
For the games when Horton is on the television broadcast alongside analyst Jim Petersen, the team will simulcast the audio of the television broadcast across the iHeart app and KFAN, instead of having a separate radio broadcast when Horton is calling the games on TV.
