TIGS (Travel Industry Golf Society of Ireland) played its last outing of the year at The Castle Golf Club last Friday. Established in 1913 and designed by the renowned Harry Colt on the beautiful grounds of Rathfarnham Castle, the Castle Golf Club is one of Dublin’s best-kept secrets. The picturesque and immaculately presented course, with views of the Dublin mountains is a commanding test of golf for players regardless of ability levels. Holiday World was the very generous sponsor and TIGS members enjoyed super goody bags, breakfast baps on the 9th followed by dinner in the Club House and prize giving. TIGS also thanks Aer Lingus, which sponsored the Golfer of the Year competition with a prize of two return flights to anywhere on their European network.
