There are many actors and actresses in the industry who preferred to stay single despite their age. One among these celebs is our 90s crush aka Ameesha Patel. In a recent interview Ameesha opened up on different aspects of life where she also shared her views about remaining single even at the age of 50.
Why is Ameesha Patel Single at 50?
In a conversation with BeerBiceps Ameesha revealed that there was a time in her school days when she used to chase boys.
When asked about avoiding marital commitments she revealed that the main reason was that men who proposed to her expected her to quit films and settle as a housewife. Patel admitted that she has sacrificed a lot for her career and equally lost a lot in love.
I have given up both things for the other and I think that I have learnt from both she said.
Opening up about her past Ameesha said that she was in a serious relationship before venturing into the movies. The boy belonged to an influential background. However when she chose to pursue a career in Bollywood her partner disagreed as he wasn’t willing to settle down with someone constantly in the public eye. Hence the union was never completed.
Several Men Proposed to Ameesha
The Gadar actress said that she is still optimistic about getting married. Speaking about her potential groom Patel added The person who finds me through everything and mauke par chauka maar lege (takes advantage of the situation) will be my person. I still get all kinds of proposals from a lot of well-to-do families. People half my age want to take me out on a date and I am open to it because a man has to be mentally mature. I have met a lot of people older than me that have the IQ of a fly.
